Juniors reach Interzone Semi Finals

Armagh Juniors put in a great performance today to reach the semi finals of the Junior Interzone in Shaws Bridge. They were beat narrowly in the semi final by a more experienced and older Oriel side, who in turn lost out to perennial winners North West in the final.

There were 11 teams in the competition in 4 groups. Armagh and South Down were in a group of 2 so played each other twice with Armagh winning both games. The Oriel game went down to last couple of ends with Armagh holding their own until a 5 and a 3 saw Oriel over the line.

All in all it was a great performance from Gerard Devlin's team, a third of which were 11 or under.
