Juniors Runners up in Interzone.

Armagh Juniors put in another great performance in the Junior Interzone last Saturday in Shaw's Bridge, finishing runners up to North West

Eight teams participated in 2 groups of 4. Armagh didn't get off to the best of starts losing by 11 to West Down. However, a comfortable win against Mid Tyrone and a nail biting 1 shot victory against Monaghan meant they gathered up enough points to top the group and go into the final.

It was always going to be a tough game against the holders North West. Armagh started strongly, but North West put the pressure on in the 2nd half of the game to ease to victory.

Congratulations then to North West, but Armagh can be proud of their season. Out of the 3 junior competitions, Armagh won 1, came runners up in 1 and 3rd place in the other. Well done to all the squad.
