Jethro League Finals

Robert Hunter's team has won this season's Jethro League. In the finals on 9 March, his rink of Agnes Crozier, Leslie Strain and Reggie Collen comfortable defeated the rink skipped by Billy Martin 16-7.

The 3rd place play-off was a much closer affair with Liam Magennis' rink beating Maurice Milligan's rink (skipped by Davy Malcolmson) with the last bowl of the game.

As usual however, it was local charities that were the real winners with a total of nearly £3,000 being handed out to 4 worthy causes. This means that since the Jethro League first started, nearly £30,000 has been donated to charity - a magnificent effort.
