End of Season Round Up

As we head towards the end of another season, both Zone League Divisions have been decided. St. Anthony's have won Division 1, leaving St. Mark's and Cranagill to battle it out for 2nd place. It looks like either St. John's Moira or St Patrick's Maralin will be relegated.

Shankill have won Division 2 and will playing their bowls in Division 1 next year. This is a great achievement for the Lurgan club who have finished in the bottom 3 of Division 2 in all but 3 of the 23 years that league has been in existence. Either Queen Street (who finished bottom last year) and Tandragee GC should finish second.

St. Mark's have won the Zone Cup, beating St. Anthony's by 6 shots in the final. St. Saviour's were victorious in the Zone Shield final.

Joe Beattie (St. Mark's) beat Kieran Trainor (St. Anthony's) in the final of the Friendship singles.
