Top Ten Junior Competition

Armagh had 2 teams in the Top Ten Junior Interzone competition held yesterday in the Jim Baker Stadium. The format was a team of 10 i.e. a single, pair, triple and a rink. The Armagh Red team had a tough draw in their group being drew with favourites and eventual winners North West. They lost that game but had a good win against Western in their other group game. Unfortunately this wasn't enough to see them qualify for the semis and they finished 5th after beating "the Rising Stars" in the 5th/6th playoff.

The Armagh White team boasting a number of younger players making their Interzone debuts had a great win against the Rising Stars in their first game, but didn't fare just as well in their next 2 group games. They still managed to finish 8th out of the 10 teams.

All in all a great days bowling will all Armagh players deserving credit.
